Hi, could u be a bit more descriptive, i.e. What happens or doesn'thappen? Can u install the drivers but the scanner will not scan or doesnot complete a test scan? Etc!I have a Umax scanner and it is very temperamental even though I have XPdrivers.I fear a lot of these drivers maybe just cobbled together or the win98/me drivers are sort of modified and not tested properly and as aconsequence we the end user get intermittent problems or poor runningsoftware which results in software errors and poor device communication.Very frustrating!!Try uninstalling the drivers, rebooting, and disabling any virusscanning software and then reinstalling the drivers.
